Beige seems more prone to holes

I don't know if there is a difference between how the black and cream ones are made, but the cream colored ones developed holes after the first use. The black ones are still going strong after many uses. I have a size 8 foot, not particularly narrow or wide, and they did fit perfectly. There was virtually no-show and they stay on really well. I'm just really annoyed that for the price I paid, 50% of the order was useless. My toenails weren't long (in fact one of the several holes appeared on the side of my baby toe) and my job does not require walking around a lot. It makes no sense to me that the cream ones bit the dust right away.
The ones that didn't get holes on the first wear I have been wearing almost every day to work and they are perfect. I have washed them numerous times. What I usually do is put a few drops of detergent on them, squish squish them a few times them under running water to rinse the soap out, and hang them to dry. That's it! Simple, and so far the silicone bits haven't come off.
Maybe it was just a coincidence or something and it had nothing to do with the color, but I am going to order these again in JUST BLACK and see if the same thing happens. I really want to like these, but I can't bring myself to give full stars without knowing if half of the order will be a waste again or not.

*UPDATE*
Got the pack of four, black only, have worn and washed them all multiple times and they are totally fine. No holes. I will just stay away from those cream colored ones, these things are too pricey to risk the holes and the black ones are more invisible anyway (most of my shoes are black or have some black in them). Giving it one more star. Still deducting one for the crappy cream ones.

Great unseen socks!

I have tried multiples of brands of socks that won't show above my shoes and claim to not fall off my heels and all of them were failures, except these socks! They are fabulous! There is a long sticky tab that runs across the back and sides of the heel area (rather than just a short sticky tab right at the back of the heel) and there are sticky tabs on the pads of the feet that prevent the socks from moving. I wear Dansko shoes, which fit very loosely, so I needed a sock that could stand up to the movement of my shoes without falling off my heels. These socks fit the bill perfectly! High quality, comfortable material with thought out stitching in the sock too. Buy them, you won't regret it!

Holes

I wore them to work with my heels, and I got holes in them. I love them, but I couldn't believe with the amount of money I spent on these socks, I get holes the first time I wore them. I thought they would be good quality but now, I know it's not worth the amount of money it costs.
